Fall in love with knitting and learn a craft that will be enjoyed for a lifetime.
This six-week class is made for total beginners. We will break down knitting into the four fundamental techniques; the Cast On, the Knit Stitch, the Purl Stitch, and the Cast Off. We will show them how to put these basic techniques into action in a simple scarf pattern designed with the novice in mind. Please note each student will be provided with knitting needles and yarn for practicing. Students can bring yarn for their scarf or we will have limited options available for them at the studio.
Homework will be assigned in this class and will be an important component of learning.
