Welcome to Messy Pants’ Beach Resort! Our summer camp theme this year is a trip to an island paradise! But don’t worry we aren’t leaving the studio. We are bringing the feeling of the wind in our hair and the sand between our toes to Messy Pants, but we’re leaving the sunburns behind! We have a lot of adventure to squish into just 100 days of summer ’23. We invite you to spend your summer laughing with new friends as we travel our island resort creating art and memories along the way.
We want to make sure that each and every one of our guests experience everything the island resort has to offer. So we have created a Sticker Collection Card to complete throughout the week. Guests will receive a card upon arrival and each time they complete a different activity, they will be presented with a sticker commemorating the achievement of that activity or event. At the end of the week, when all the spots on their cards have been filled, each guest will receive a prize!!!
At our Beach Resort we will focus on team building. We will have get-to-know-you games, spirit activities, camp cheers and so much more. We will be offering smaller group activities to encourage campers to make long-lasting friendships. They will also do some activities as a large group.
We have 8 BRAND NEW weekly art themes this year. They are all fun, original, and age appropriate. But don’t worry? The themes, as awesome as they are, are not super rigid. We will give kids plenty of room to express themselves and make their projects what they want them to be.

What’s a Beach Resort without fun beach themed activities? Each week our guests will create incredible art pieces and participant in thrilling activities, to capture the feeling of fun in the sun. These projects are repeated in each camp. They are so versatile and fun that even our guests visiting the camp for multiple weeks will love trying them again.

Beach Stepping Stones
Stepping stones filled with shells and sea glass is one of those projects that is not only super fun, but can end up being a family heirloom. Adorning a garden for years to come.

Sail Boat Races
We are really thrilled about this project and activity. Each guest will build, design and decorate their very own wooden sail boat. On the last day everyone participates in a huge Boat Race Tournament. We will have a 5 foot long water channel for our boats to race in. And the winner will get a trophy, and of course all our racers will get a prize as well!

Beach Slime
And lastly, they love it, we love it, and you…. Love them…. So we are making Slime!
This summer we are making a double slime combo. Half Ocean. Half Beach. Combined to make one incredible slime activity. We’ll add an umbrella and some hand made polymer clay beach items to complete this beach slime masterpiece!

Pizza Party!
We’ll be ending the week off with a bang. Everyones favourite hot lunch! Each guest will still need snacks and drinks, but we’ll be providing the main course. PIZZA!!!

Camp Details
Messy Pants is the perfect place to spend some time this summer. Our Camps are run by the week, which offers much needed flexibility to your summer planning. We have 8 separate camp themes, which means you can join us for one week or for 8 weeks, with all new projects every week. Camps run from 9am to 4pm. Our Studio is inspiring, huge, and air conditioned. We also go outside to get some fresh air while staying safe on-site.
The typical camp day will include 2 longer work periods where we make more detailed art projects. For example, an acrylic painting or a sculpture. The camp day will also include group time for crafts like boondoggle, Perler Beads, Shrinky Dinks, friendship bracelets, beading and more. Students will also have independent time where they can play with their friends.
The most important things to know about camp are... DRESS FOR MESS. Wear old clothes and shoes as we will get MESSY. Don’t forget to pack a water bottle and a nut free lunch and snack.
It’s time to make art, have fun, and make some incredible summer memories!
