Nothing says Spring like going outside, maybe to a festival or an event, and standing in line for an incredible foodie dish from a Food Truck. Restaurants on wheels, Food Trucks are a great way to try a variety of foods at one time, all in the same place. This March Break we are bringing our love of food, and Food Trucks, to Messy Pants.
Each student will design and build their very own cardboard Dessert Food Truck. They will pick the name and the colours of their truck. We will help them add all the details that make their truck on of a kind. We will first test some designs by colouring simple Food Truck outlines, and then we will start building and creating our cardboard model. Once the main parts are painted, we will use paint markers to add all the details.
Food Truck Goodies
Don’t forget the food! We will create a selection of culinary delights for our wonderful Food Trucks. Using Polymer Clay, each student will hand build colourful food sculptures for their Food Trucks theme.
Food Inspired Acrylic Painting
We will also be creating an Acrylic painting to match the food theme of the Food Trucks.
And that’s just the start!
We will be making Bead Bracelets, Paint Spinners, and of course, SLIME!!!
