Feeling the Winter blahs? At Messy Pants we can help! Our classes offer kids a chance to escape the cold, and see their peers or meet new friends in a non school, fun and low pressure environment.
Also, getting creative is a form of self care. Making art improves concentration, decreases stress, teaches new skills, and instills a feeling of productiveness and accomplishment. Art is needed now more than ever. Oh, and did I mention its fun!
Let’s try something new next year. Each student will roll up their sleeves and get thier hands dirty, as they slap, slip and throw their way through this introduction to the clay wheel. Your kids will laugh, make a mess, and learn how to throw a bowl on the clay wheel. They will feel clay squish between their fingers and feel empowered as they turn mud into a bowl. This treasured keepsake will be signed, glazed, fired in the kiln and then brought home to display. They can do this!
